Becoming an AviationPro Patron via Patreon?

First of all: thank you! Your support is very much appreciated!

To prevent trouble and to keep things clear there are some terms & conditions regarding my Patreon page and its rewards. Not that I don’t trust you, but it prevents unfair things from happening for both sides. By becoming an AviationPro patron via Patreon, you agree to the terms & conditions of Patreon and to the following AviationPro-specific terms & conditions:

  1. Your first pledge needs to be processed by Patreon first before you are eligble to receive your reward (except for the $1 reward). I may make an exception though if you have been a patron before.
  2. If your pledge has not been succesfully processed by Patreon (because you entered wrong payment info for example) I unfortunately have to cancel any access to rewards or appointments for flights you have made before. You are eligible to get access again once your pledge has been processed succesfully.
  3. Refunds are only given if there is a valid reason (for example, I have been unable to give you the reward that you deserve). I cannot provide refunds when you already received your reward or if you intentionally did not make use of them.
  4. In case I am unable to provide patrons with rewards for a specific period, I will be able to ‘pause’ my Patreon campaign. You will be notified about this through a personal email.
  5. For patron-only streams and personal flights: not showing up within 15 minutes of the agreed start time without prior notice will cancel that session. At least one patron has to be present for a group activity to continue.
  6. I am not liable for any damage or dissatisfaction caused by making use of my advice given in group sessions or individual sessions via Skype or Hangouts, not for future sessions, nor for past sessions. In the end, it’s the user’s own responsbility to make use of any advice given by applying advice appropriately and accordingly depending on the user’s preferences or PC systems. Advice that may work for me or my PC system, may not directly be applicable for you or to your PC system, and as such no refunds can be given.

What is Patreon?
It’s a great network that lets you contribute to your favorite content creators or artists so they can produce more and better content for you! Google Ads revenue often cannot cover the costs of running a channel like AviationPro. Therefore, having Patreon as an extra source of income is of great help and it allows those who truely care about their favorite content creator to support their work!

Why should you support AviationPro?
Making these videos and maintaining the AviationPro website costs time and money. If you appreciate the content that AviationPro makes, if you think the VATSIM videos, the Flight Simulator Tutorials, and all the other videos are useful to you and if you want me to make more of these videos in the future, please consider supporting me! Not only will your financial support help me, you also have the chance to be part of a great community surrounding this Patreon page!

What distinguishes AviationPro from other Flight Simulator/Aviation channels?

  • Emphasis on educative content. I will teach you something, yet my videos are also fun to watch.
  • I don’t regard Flight Simulation as a ‘game’. Rather as a tool to learn more about aviation and its many surrounding topics.
  • I intend to achieve high realism in my videos, whether that be by using realistic addons or flying a true multicrew flight on VATSIM!
  • A professional touch to each video: all content is created using a ‘pilot mindset’, by someone who is eager to learn and passionate about aviation in all its forms! I am NOT a real world pilot, but I try to do my best to be responsible and professional in my videos.

How much should you give?
Whatever you like. Think of it as buying me a cup of coffee each month, or a beer, or a glass of good winea fine whisky, a lunch, or maybe even a dinner! In return you will get more videos and great rewards! Even if it’s just 1 dollar/month: every little bit helps and is much appreciated!

Please only support me if you can actually afford it! It makes no sense to donate to the AviationPro channel while you need it yourself, so please be wise and spend it on yourself!
